While it’s widely known for managing Facebook Pages, did you know you can also manage and schedule Instagram posts through Meta Business Suite? This blog will guide you through setting up Instagram to work seamlessly with Meta Business Suite, so you can easily post and schedule content for both platforms.

How Does Instagram Work with Meta Business Suite?

Meta Business Suite and Facebook Creator Studio allow businesses to manage and schedule posts for Instagram, especially if your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook Business Page. Once linked, you can create, schedule, and track posts for both Facebook and Instagram in one place, saving you time and streamlining your workflow.

Step 1: Connect Your Instagram Account to Your Facebook Page

Before you can start scheduling Instagram posts, your Instagram account must be linked to your Facebook Business Page. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite
    Log in to your Meta Business Suite account at business.facebook.com.
  2. Navigate to Settings
    On the left sidebar, click on Settings.
  3. Find Instagram Accounts
    Within Settings, look for Instagram Accounts (sometimes under “Business Settings” or directly listed).
  4. Connect Your Instagram Account
    Click Connect Account and log in with your Instagram username and password. Allow the connection to your Facebook Business Page.

Once connected, your Instagram account will be linked to your Facebook Business Page, enabling management through Meta Business Suite.

Step 2: Create and Schedule Instagram Posts in Meta Business Suite

Now that your accounts are linked, scheduling posts for Instagram alongside Facebook is easy:

  1. Create a New Post
    On the Meta Business Suite homepage, click Create Post.
  2. Select Instagram
    At the top of the post editor, you’ll see icons for Facebook and Instagram. Click the Instagram icon to select it.
  3. Add Content
    Upload your photo or video, write your caption, and add hashtags just like a normal Instagram post.
  4. Schedule or Publish
    Click the down arrow next to Publish to schedule your post for a future date and time, or publish immediately.
  5. Review Scheduled Posts
    Go to Posts & Stories on the left sidebar and click Scheduled to view, edit, or delete any posts scheduled for Instagram.

Step 3: Use Instagram Stories and IGTV in Meta Business Suite

Meta Business Suite also supports scheduling and posting for Instagram Stories and IGTV, although with some differences:

  • Instagram Stories: When creating a post, select Instagram Stories to share your story. You can add text, stickers, and links, and schedule your stories for later posting.
  • IGTV Posts: You can schedule IGTV videos by choosing IGTV as the post type during creation and uploading your video.

Note: Currently, Meta Business Suite does not support scheduling Instagram Reels. To post Reels, you’ll need to use the Instagram app directly.
