Your Google Account, YouTube and Gmail account all share the same password, on the computer, on the phone, or on an app. It does not matter if you change it on the phone or on the computer, it will change universally on all devices. I am showing 2 cell methods for changing, one on google.com and the other on the gmail app. Then below that I am showing a third method on the computer, please be advised that you will need your cell phone in order to do any of these methods.
FIRST: This video shows you how to change your password on your cell phone from your Gmail App.
SECOND: How to change it on the phone from you google.com on any cell phone “web browser” in this case Chrome. At the end of the video if you have forgotten your password click “forgot password” and follow the instructions.
BONUS THIRD: This is how you recover your password on the computer, you will need your cell phone for this method also. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT, ADD IT! If you can’t your cell phone to recover the account in SOME CASES google will let you use an associated email account. The cell phone does not need to be present, you can call the cell phone and ask the person to tell you the code so you can put it in.
